On the Spot Admissions, Jan. 9th &14th

Come to a free On the Spot Admissions Session and make a plan for January! Classes start on January 21st. All you need is proof that you’ve completed high school (a copy of your high school diploma, final transcript or GED) and if applicable, college transcripts.

Been to College Before?

 

  • If you would like to enter a degree program at North Shore Community, please bring in a copy of your high school diploma, transcripts or GED and fill out an application.
  • You’ve already successfully completed some college courses, so you may be able to use those to place you in appropriate courses at NSCC. Please bring in college transcripts, grade reports, SAT and AP scores (if you have them) or other documentation with you so an advisor can assist you in course selection.
  • If necessary, please allow time for assessment testing in Math or English. (please bring a photo ID)
  • Already completed a FAFSA? Don’t forget to update it by entering the North Shore Community College college code 002173.
  • If you are not using financial aid to pay for your courses remember that payment is due at the time of registration.
  • If you do not wish to purchase the college health insurance, bring a copy of your health insurance coverage.

If you are a brand new student and have never attended college:

  • If you would like to enter a degree program at North Shore Community, please come in with a copy of your high school diploma, transcripts or GED and fill out an application. (If you have SAT and or AP scores, please bring them in for possible placement into courses)
  • Allow time for assessment testing in Math or English if necessary (please bring a photo id).
  • If you have already completed a FAFSA you can [add North Shore Community College by using the college code 002173.]
  • If you do not wish to purchase the college health insurance, bring a copy of your health insurance coverage.

If you would like to simply take a few courses:

  • Come in and complete a registration form and pay for you course(s). Allow time for assessment testing in Math or English if necessary (please bring a photo id).
  • You may pay for your classes by check, credit card, or money order. Payment plans are available.
