NSCC’s May Supervisors’ Connection, Effective Delegation to Develop Staff and Manage Time

NSCC_CTS_North Shore Community College will hold their May Supervisors’ Connection, Effective Delegation to Develop Staff and Manage Time, Wednesday, May 18, 2016, from 8-10 a.m. at NSCC’s Corporate Training Solutions (CTS), 1 Ferncroft Road, DS106, Danvers. Cost is $39 per workshop.

Managers who delegate effectively reach two very important outcomes: developing their staff and saving time so they can focus on other areas of their work. Yet, many managers do not delegate, or if they do, they don’t do it effectively. We will address why managers do not delegate and the benefits when they use a thorough process for delegation. In this Supervisors’ Connection, you will learn how to create a delegation plan that addresses the necessary components for the delegation assignment before, during, and after the assignment is completed. The tools in this workshop ensure that delegation is successful for employees and managers every time.

In this class, participants will learn:

  • Benefits and Barriers to Delegation
  • Delegation Goal and Requirements
  • A Plan for Delegation
