NSCC’s March Supervisors’ Connection, What’s My Communication Style?

CTS sliderNorth Shore Community College will hold their March Supervisors’ Connection, What’s My Communication Style?,  Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 8-10 a.m. at NSCC’s Corporate Training Solutions (CTS), 1 Ferncroft Road, DS106, Danvers. Cost is $49 per workshop.

Understanding communication styles improves relationships and career advancement.  People form impressions about us based on what they observe us doing or saying, so they make decisions based on what they see and hear. The patterns of behavior that others observe can be called communication style. The effectiveness or ineffectiveness of our communication style has a great impact on our signature presence … who we are and what we stand for.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize your style (signature presence) and how it affects communication and relationships
  • Learn about a 4-dimensional communication/behavioral model
  • Understand how to adapt and flex across the model for effectiveness with others
  • Be introduced to the concept of “People Reading” … a communication superpower!
