Are there opportunities for you to manage workplace conversations more positively with staff, peers, and senior leaders in your organization? This program provides information on and practice in how to apply the principles of positive psychology – coupled with your communication style – to achieve results in everyday workplace communications.

In this class, participants will learn to:
• Describe workplace studies on how teams and individuals have enhanced productivity and engagement by applying positive communications practices
• Assess your communications style and explore its strengths and potential weaknesses in day-to-day interactions
• Practice leveraging your strengths and incorporating less preferred communication styles to influence co-workers appropriately to get work done
• Use appreciative questions to help address a real workplace problem, and get peer and instructor feedback

Facilitator: Katherine Maloney is an accomplished coach, group facilitator, consultant and trainer with over 25 years of experience in human resources, career coaching and organization development.
