NSCC’s ICTT Changes Name to Corporate Training Solutions

Corporate Training Solutions is the new name of North Shore Community College’s Institute for Corporate Training & Technology, the college’s workforce training and development branch.  Corporate Training Solutions is a leading provider of custom-designed, high-quality, affordable training programs.

The name change is in response to the heightened emphasis on increased alignment between business needs and community colleges, as well as input from client focus groups.

“Our new name tells what we really do – provide custom-designed, workforce training programs,” said Dr. Dianne Palter Gill, NSCC’s Dean of Corporate & Community Education. “Feedback from our clients and the business community demonstrated that they realized and appreciated our connection with the college, but were unsure about what ICTT offered. The corporate world is changing and we need to keep up with those changes.”

She continued, “We hope that this new focus will allow us to better connect with the regional business community who aren’t aware of what we offer so that we can expand our footprint in the corporate world.”

Corporate Training Solutions serves North Shore communities with highly acclaimed corporate training tailored to a company’s specific learning objectives, goals, and budget – and delivers it whenever and wherever needed. CTS provides a network of expert trainers and high quality programs bringing specialized curriculum to develop the skills of large or small business teams. CTS can also work with businesses to help them access grant funding for training.
