NSCC’s 32nd Forum on Tolerance, “Sharing the Earth Responsibly”



“Sharing the Earth Responsibly” will be the topic at North Shore Community College’s (NSCC) 32nd Forum on Tolerance, Thursday, April 24, 9 a.m. – noon, in NSCC’s Lynn gym, 300 Broad Street.

Co-sponsored by NSCC’s Green Team, “Sharing the Earth Responsibly” will feature speakers addressing a number of sustainability issues including:

  • Keynote – Games for a New Climate – Janot Medler de Suarez, Climate Change Resilience Consultant & Visiting Research Fellow at Boston University
  • What’s Your Ecological Footprint? – Dr. Carlos Marin and Leanne McGuinness
  • Human Impact on the Environment – Dr. Frederick Altieri & Professor Joseph Modugno
  • The Challenges of Change – Loring LaB. Schwarz, The Massachusetts Audubon Society and Barbara Ikalainen, NSCC Green Initiative Coordinator & NSCC Students
  • What You Can Do To Help – NSCC Environmental Club
