North Shore Community College will hold their March Supervisors’ Connection, Performance Evaluations, Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 8-10 a.m. at NSCC’s Corporate Training Solutions (CTS), 1 Ferncroft Road, DS106, Danvers. Cost is $49 per workshop.
Studies show that more than half of the most important drivers of employee engagement and performance are related to effective performance management skills, including setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, supporting employee development and performance reviews. Managers who are effective at employee performance reviews produce better business results, including: 50% less staff turnover; 10 – 30% higher customer satisfaction ratings; 40% higher employee commitment ratings; and 200% higher net profits.
In this class, participants will learn:
- The true impact of performance evaluations – the benefits of coaching and feedback.
- To reduce resistance, increase reception and improve results through formal and informal performance evaluations.
- To provide the direction that allows team members to break through performance barriers.
Facilitator: Deirdre Higgins brings over 20 years of experience as a Human Resources Executive, with knowledge including recruiting, training, performance management, career development, diversity program development, employee relations, benefits, compensation, payroll, safety, leadership development and compliance issues. Deirdre has a BA in Education from Wheelock College and an MBA from Cambridge College, and has been a Corporate trainer for CTS for many years.
