North Shore Community College (NSCC) invites the college community and the public to a free screening of The Last Pig, Bob Comis’ documentary that raises crucial questions about equality, the value of compassion and the sanctity of life. Comis’ soul-bearing narrative carries us through his final year of farming pigs, the struggle to reinvent his life, and the ghosts that will haunt him forever.
The free screening will be held on Thursday, April 19, from 12:30-2pm at NSCC’s Danvers Campus, 1 Ferncroft Road, Math and Science building, room DS119. The film will be introduced by members of the film production team, along with special guest, Charlotte. A Q & A session will be held after the screening.
Sponsored by NSCC’s Environmental Club and Professors Emeriti.
